Our Vision
Training the Next Generation to Treasure Christ.
We believe children belong in the story of what God is doing at Aletheia. Just as the Lord called His people to "teach [His words] diligently to your children" (Deuteronomy 6:7), we want every child connected to our church to grow up knowing that Jesus Christ is their greatest Treasure.
On the Sundays Aletheia Kids meets, grade-school-aged children gather to hear Bible stories taught clearly and age-appropriately, sing, and begin memorizing Scripture together — planting gospel truth deep before the questions of adolescence and adulthood arrive.
We partner with parents, not replace them. Aletheia Kids supplements the discipleship that happens at home; it doesn't outsource it. On weeks when kids ministry isn't meeting, children stay with their families in Sunday School and the Worship Gathering — we want them to see what it looks like for grown-ups to treasure Jesus, too.
What to Expect
Sunday Schedule
9:00 AM — Sunday School. On the Sundays Aletheia Kids meets, grade-school-aged children are dismissed to their own class. On off weeks, kids stay with their parents in the adult Sunday School class.
10:30 AM — Worship Gathering. All kids, including infants and toddlers, remain with their families during the Gathering. There's no dismissal to a separate kids' service.
What's Taught
Lessons trace the storyline of Scripture in age-appropriate language, pointing kids again and again to Jesus. Each week includes a Bible story, games and activities, simple gospel-centered applications, and Bible memorization.
What Parents Should Expect
Check-in is simple and informal — a volunteer will greet you and your child and point you to their classroom.
Pickup happens right at the classroom door after dismissal. If you have any concerns about allergies, sensory needs, or anything else, just let a volunteer know — we're happy to make it work.
Infants & Toddlers
Aletheia Kids is currently offered for grade-school-aged children, but we know littles come too. We don't yet have a formal nursery, but there's a designated parent space near the Gathering where you can step out with little ones and still follow along. You're always welcome to keep your child with you in the Gathering as well — we're a family, and that includes the little voices.
