Whoever you are and wherever you're coming from — whether you've followed Jesus for decades, you're exploring faith for the first time, or you're honestly not sure what you believe — you are welcome here this morning. You don't need to dress a certain way, know the songs, or have anything figured out. Come as you are; there's a place for you.
Our Hope for This Morning
More than a routine or a performance, we hope this gathering is an encounter — that in the reading of Scripture, the singing, the prayers, the Lord's Supper, and the preaching of God's Word, you would catch a glimpse of the beauty and worth of Jesus Christ. He is the Truth we build our lives on and the Treasure we've found to be worth everything. Our hope is that you'd leave having seen a little more of Him.

We desire to engage the world with the good news, cultivate disciples of Christ, and labor for our city's restoration - all to His glory.
We are a community in College Park learning to treasure Jesus Christ above all things. We anchor our life in Scripture - God's living and complete word - and gather each week to worship Him together. Our hope is to see Christ worshipped here in our city and among every people. Whether you have followed Christ for decades or are exploring faith for the first time, come and meet Him with us.

What We Believe
The center of who we are is Who we believe in — Jesus defines us.
Everything at Aletheia flows from one conviction: that our Truth and our Treasure is Jesus Christ. We hold to the good news of the gospel — that God has drawn near to us in Jesus, that His death and resurrection reconcile us to Himself, and that His grace is what forms us into a people. We take Scripture as our authority and Christ as our foundation, and we'd love for you to see the beliefs that shape our common life.

Why Church Membership?
If you're a Christian, you already know you're called to gather with God's people. The first believers were devoted to meeting together (Acts 2:42), and Hebrews warns us against "neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near" (Heb. 10:25). Scripture is clear — you're meant to go to church.
But join one? Where's that command? Membership is nowhere directly commanded in Scripture — but it's everywhere assumed. There are commands throughout the New Testament that simply can't be obeyed apart from a real commitment to a local body of believers.
