Our Leadership
Aletheia College Park
Elders
Jesus has given pastors, also called elders, as gifts to lead, teach, and care for his church. These are the men our congregation has recognized as elders according to the qualifications laid out in Scripture.
Rob Stephens
Pastor / Elder
Rob was saved by God’s grace as a child in western NC where he grew up. He got his Bachelor of Business degree from Western Carolina University in 2000. It was there at Western that Rob met the love of his life, Denise, and they have been married since 2001 and are the proud parents of 3 boys. Rob got his MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and served initially as a youth minister in Howard County Maryland. In 2011, he responded to a call to church planting and began the journey of preparing for that work. In 2013 he and his family moved to College Park, MD to plant Aletheia College Park and by God’s grace a church was born! Rob enjoys spending time with his family, running, fishing and watching sports.Rob’s primary responsibilities at Aletheia are preaching and teaching and overall leadership.
Steve Reid
Pastor / Elder
Steve and his wife, Kate, have two kids. Though he grew up in a Christian home, Steve was not saved until he was 27 (2011). Before that, he earned a master's in kinesiology and worked in personal training and strength and conditioning—but after the Lord saved him, he began to desire full-time ministry. In 2015 he moved to Louisville, KY to pursue an MDiv at Southern Seminary, and it was there that he met his wife, Kate; the two were married in 2022. Shortly after, they moved to Washington, DC, where Steve joined the staff of Restoration Church as a Pastoral Assistant. Through that work the Lord clarified his desire for pastoral ministry, and in May of 2026 God opened the door for him to come on staff at Aletheia. Steve enjoys working out, pickleball, reading, and hanging at home with his family.
Steve provides pastoral oversight for various groups in the church and oversees the day-to-day operations of the church.
Bryan Zeug
Pastor / Elder
Bryan was raised in a Christian home and heard the gospel at an early age, though it was not until a middle school church retreat that its message truly took hold of his heart. There he understood that Christ's atoning sacrifice had paid for his sin and made him right before the Father, and through faith in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit he was made new and freed from the slavery of sin. After high school, Bryan moved from New Jersey to attend the University of Maryland, where he earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering and fell in love with the church. He stayed in the area to remain part of what God is doing through Aletheia, and it was in College Park that he met his wife, Katelyn; they were married in 2018. Bryan loves Aletheia's gospel-centered approach to community and its intentional witness on UMD's campus, and he longs to see God use the church to reach students with the good news of Jesus and grow believers into maturity—raising up laborers for the Lord's harvest in College Park and beyond.
Bryan provides general pastoral care and leads the worship ministry..
